We are starting this GoFundMe to support my cousin Amber, her husband Ryan, and their two children, Connor and Valerie, as they walk through an unexpected and life-changing season—one that requires deep faith, strength, and hope.

Amber has suffered multiple strokes and has been diagnosed with a very rare condition called Moyamoya disease. She has already undergone one brain surgery and will require a second surgery once doctors determine she is stable enough. As a result, Amber does have some neurological deficits. While her medical team has shared that these may be permanent, we continue to pray and believe in healing, restoration, and miracles.

We are incredibly grateful to live in Canada where medical care is covered. Still, this journey carries added financial pressures and unknowns. More than anything, this fundraiser is about lifting that weight so this family can rest in God’s peace and focus on what matters most.

This fundraiser is about creating space for joy, even in the midst of hardship. It’s about giving Amber and Ryan the freedom to focus on healing, on their children, and on trusting God through each step—without the constant worry of financial strain. No matter the situation or outcome, our prayer is that this family feels surrounded by peace, provision, and hope.
