Amber was the light of all our lives. Her smile would light up any room she entered. She was infinitely kind, generous, and endearing to all who were blessed to know her. She lived to do all she could to bring joy to the lives of her family and friends.
Shortly after Amber was admitted to her local hospital, her doctors determined that she should be airlifted to a larger facility with more advanced resources and technology. However a few hours after arrival, Amber took a turn for the worse. Although the wonderful doctors and nurses tried everything they could to revive her, Amber's heart failed and she passed from this world into the hands of God. No one even had the chance to say goodbye to our sweet, gorgeous, Amber.
Amber was only 44 years old, and had so much more life to live and so much more to offer this world. Our family's grief is beyond comprehension. There will forever be a hole in our hearts, as we now are missing a gigantic piece of what made us a family.
The medical bills from Amber's care are insurmountable and we are kindly asking our friends and family to donate anything you can to help her husband bare the burden of the exorbitant medical bills and funeral costs. The life flight alone cost upwards of $20,000. Any amount donated in excess of the medical bills and funeral costs will be put into a educational trust for Amber's sweet, kind-hearted, 7-year-old daughter, Makayla, the love and pride of Amber's life.
We are so grateful for the love and support of our family and friends during this extremely difficult time. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Amber's family will be holding a private funeral for her on Saturday, December 26, 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for friends and family to contribute to this memorial fund.
Our hearts are absolutely broken and the road ahead will undoubtedly be nearly impossible to fathom. We all thank you for your kind words and generous hearts.
