Help Amber Andri Kick Breast Cancer to the Curb

I think we can all agree, cancer sucks. So does everything that goes along with it. The cost for treatment shouldn't be something people need to stress about while they are fighting this disease. That's why I've created this gofundme for Amber. Over the past two years, Amber has lost both her parents. While she was caring for her mother in February of 2023, Amber found a lump in her breast. Because her mom was in hospice with terminal stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and in the last weeks of her life, Amber couldn’t have the lump investigated until she returned to Oregon. In May 2023 she received the news that there were multiple malignant tumors (and a few other spots) in her right breast. She was diagnosed with Stage IIIb Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. It's HER2 Negative (and positive for Estrogen and Progesterone receptors).
As I write this, I am sitting with Amber in her living room. This morning, she had minor surgery for the placement of the port through which she will receive her chemotherapy treatments. Those treatments commence on Thursday and last five months. She is going into this stage of treatment with good vitals and a strong heart. After the five months of chemo, Amber will undergo another surgery, this time for a mastectomy and reconstruction.
Unfortunately, Amber's health insurance has a very high deductible, and this is a battle that will take more than a year. Combine that with all the other expenses that go along with cancer; things that aren't covered like time off work, food, transportation, assistance with basic life needs, and the costs add up significantly. In short, cancer is really, really expensive.
Amber has a hard time asking for help, but after talking to her about her needs, it is clear that financial assistance would make this time a little less hard. Amber is one of the most generous people I know. If someone needs a helping hand, she is always the first one to be there to offer support and I am asking you to donate to help her today. Even if you can only give a tiny amount, a little adds up to a lot and can make all the difference.
If you are able, please donate today to help Amber kick cancer to the curb.
