Amber Hosford Sarver's Medical Expenses

My name is Becky Pelfrey, and I am fundraising for my lifelong friend (and birthday twin), Amber Hosford Sarver. Amber was recently diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma with a gastrointestinal origin, stage 4. There is no cure, only remission which is what the doctors are hoping. Her chemo treatment will take 9-12 months and she has infusions bi-weekly with her having to take a pump home for 48 hrs with one of the 4 chemo drugs.

Amber is married to Chris, a truck driver. She is the mother of 3 grown daughters, and a grandmother (Nanee) to three beautiful grandchildren, with another grandchild on the way.

Amber was told that she had extra cancer coverage with her insurance plan. She recently found out that this coverage doesn't begin to help with her growing medical bills. Chris is having to work many more hours just to make ends meet and is struggling to help Amber get to chemo and doctor appointments.
