Our dearest friend Amber Gray was recently diagnosed with a life altering benign brain tumor (Acoustic Neuroma). The Doctors were able to get her into surgery within weeks and the tumor was successfully removed. She worked (Deputy Sheriff / Sgt) up to the moment she could not work. She has a tough road ahead of her but she is a fighter. She will have intense physical and cognitive therapy for at least the next 8 weeks, but probably longer. This will hopefully bring her to a place of her new normal. Our warrior is hoping to return to the office in a few months and, knowing her, there is definitely a good chance of success in that.
While she has insurance, we all know insurance does not cover everything. There will probably be astronomical medical bills from now until the end of time.
While Amber takes EVERYTHING in the most positive manner possible, we can help to alleviate some of her financial stress. Especially during the Christmas season; we ALL know how much Amber LOVES holidays.
Amber is the most beautiful (inside and out) wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, coworker, and more that we can imagine. Whether it be family, church, work, or home, Amber always gives her all. And she gives her all with her whole heart in the most beautiful, optimistic way. She is definitely a person we should all aspire to be.
We also know that Amber is the first person on the phone, in line, or in charge of any fundraisers or charity if anyone is ever in need. Let’s all return the favor and show her how much we love her.
