Hi, I'm Konan and I'm a full time university student who works part time in childcare. I got Amber as a "birthday present" from my mom's friend when I was 17, but lived in a really neglectful household and she was only taken to the vet once to be spayed. She also wasn't taken to the vet by her previous owner.

I worked full time during the summer to save money to get Amber to the vet, but then unexpectedly had to move out and the money went towards covering my bills since I wasn't able to work enough hours during school to cover everything. Starting September 2025, my university schedule FINALLY allowed me to work enough to make rent, but that doesn't include all of my other bills + groceries. Dropping $2-3K at once would be really difficult for me, and unfortunately their pet insurance doesn't cover dental :(

ANYTHING helps! If the procedure cost is less than total donations, the rest will be donated to the NBSPCA Happy Tails program, which helps subsidize vet bills for low income families
