Amber Ferguson: Fck Cancer

Dear Friends, GoFundMe community, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces family,

Our friend Amber was diagnosed a year and a half ago with multiple cancerous brain tumours, shortly after moving to Quebec to support her fiancé Nic who is a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Since the diagnosis, Amber has undergone chemotherapy as well as surgery. Amber has recently started to suffer from seizures on top of the side effects of her ongoing chemotherapy treatments. Needless to say, Amber has been through a lot.

Amber has recently been given a course of injections which will reduce or stop the growth of tumours. The downside of these injections is that they are extremely expensive. Amber and her fiancé Nic had planned to get married in the near future, however they are worried that they might not be able to plan their wedding due to unexpected medical expenses. As friends of Amber and Nic, we would kindly ask you to consider any donations as a way of relieving some pressure from a couple of great people that have been put through a lot.

Throughout these difficult times, Amber has remained strong, determined to fight, and is always encouraging and inspiring others to see the positives and enjoy life no matter what. Amber and Nic have never wanted to ask for help, however we feel that they deserve all the help and support that people are able to give. Any donations will go towards the treatment injections as well as other medical expenses, and will hopefully enable Amber and Nic to get married among friends and family.
