Amber - Breast Cancer Battle

Earlier this week, my coworker told me she was going in for a biopsy, today she let me know that she tested positive for breast cancer. She is going with the radical option of a mastectomy. Her mother also had breast cancer which lead to a double mastectomy. She doesn't want to go through radiation or chemo. She works full time as our central office admin. She is a single mother with two children and a newborn grandson. She works evenings as a manager at a restaurant. She will be part time while going through surgery and recover and unable to work at her restaurant job. She is a wonderful person and today we hugged each other and I got all verklempt. She is being strong for her children.
