My name is Dustin Bedard, and my life has been profoundly shaped by my time with Christian Del Cuadro and his team deep in the Amazon Jungle. To this day, I have the honor of calling him not just a friend, but my brother.

Christian is battling Kawasaki disease, which has progressed into a life-threatening condition requiring urgent, major surgery. His insurance company has dangerously delayed his care and is attempting to deny any responsibility to pay, and he can no longer afford to wait. This is a man who has never asked for anything, is always the provider, the protector, the one who carries others forward…. Now it’s OUR turn to carry him!

Christian is the kind of man you don’t just meet…..you experience. Anyone who has spent time with him has felt the impact of his selflessness, strength, and unwavering kindness. He has humbled, healed, protected, taught, fed and fought for others. He gives without hesitation and expects nothing in return. A former military commander of 18 years, Christian has always put others first. Born in the United States and raised between the U.S. and Peru, he bridges worlds…not just geographically, but through the lives he touches.

Beyond his passion for service, Christian is a devoted husband to his wife Mary and a proud father to four beautiful girls: Andrea, Michelle, Allyson, and Alexandra. Everything he does is for them, yet his impact extends far beyond his family. In the Amazon, he provides meaningful work and opportunity for local tribal people; supporting not just individuals, but entire families. He has become a pillar in that community, someone others rely on when it matters most.
