Amazon Bereavement Fund for Jernay Cannon

With the unexpected and sudden passing of Jernay, a fund has started for any Amazon family team member to help with the upcoming costs of funeral home expenses, bringing him back to the U.S., memorial service, and the move of his apartment to name just a few. More importantly, to help provide for his two children, until other funds start to come in. The kids are devastated and miss him so much that they have additional needs to help them recover, and these donated funds will help with that, along with the basics of life that they need.

At the request of a Senior Manager of HR from Amazon, this was fund was created by Tara Cannon, mother to Jernay's two children.  The intent of Amazon's, was to circulate this Go Fund Me internally to those that knew and worked with Jernay, and Amazon team members so their "Amazon Family" could help out our family. Shared with Amazon, the funds will be used for - funeral home expenses, bringing Jernay back to the U.S. (as he was out of the country), memorial service being held on March 2nd, move of his belongings from his home and for to help keep the family afloat while we wait for insurance to kick in.
