Maura is my sister.  She is the kindest person I've ever been blessed to know.  A 45 year old hard working rehab nurse, wife, mother to her 7 year old son, Evan.  Adored sister to her brother Tom with Downs Syndrome.  Maura has been bravely fighting an aggressive disease, Scleroderma for the past 4 years.  A disease that is attacking her heart and lungs causing her to have to wear oxygen continuous, constant hospitalizations and recently stop working.  With a more recent diagnosis of metastatic cancer Maura will have to start radiation and aggressive Chemotherapy at Mass General Hosptial. If you know Maura,  then you know how humble and selfless she is, what an amazing person she is and has committed her entire life to caring for others.  She could now use our help from her family and friends as she's in for a tough road again.
