Amazing Father In Need of A Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
Urgent Update: It’s with great sadness Norman has suffered a Massive Heart Attack and is now in Open Heart Surgery. There is a huge financial need for him and his family right now, and your support is greatly appreciated! Please keep him in your prayers. Any contribution will help.
Norman Carroll is a true man of honor and respect who has impacted many lives in a positive way throughout his life journey. He has spent many years donating his time to youth coaching basketball, football & track ( Liberty HS, University Prep, & Kent Knights) Norm is a graduate of Western Washington University & has maintained longstanding friendships. He is the greatest of all times Father to his sons & only daughter. He has never missed a game or important memories for his kids and family. On June 3, 2020 life drastically changed for Norman when he was rushed to the hospital for "Congestive Heart" failure and" Renal Kidney" failure. While in the hospital he contracted Covid19 and his health started to decline from there. The greatest character trait of Norman is he is truly a "GIVER". Everyone who knows him is aware that he will turn down a gift simply because he feels someone else needs it more. Unfortunately, Norman is now at the last 10% of his only functioning kidney and is in immediate need of a kidney donor match. We understand that we must raise the money because our insurance will only cover 80 % of the full cost of his kidney transplant, but the truth is ... without a kidney donor match soon, the money wont matter. Norman has been accepted into the kidney donor registry which could take up to 5years. Right now we are seeking anyone who is willing to be tested as a part of our private donor registry so we can get Norman a kidney fast. If you are willing to be tested and added as a possible donor please email us. The Swedish Hospital Transplant Team can help us coordinate how you can get tested by your own primary doctor team. We clearly don't have a lot of time on our hands and we are at the mercy of our Heavenly Father as well as the generosity of our country/ community to make this dream possible for Norman. The beautiful part about this process is it doesn't matter what race you are, how wealthy you are or perhaps how far the distance you may be...You may hold the kidney that norm needs to save his life and continue his God Given journey. He will have surgery next week for a donor work up but his body is very weak at this moment. We need the funds to help offset the cost of his transplant, he wont be able to go back to work for quite some time, and we also want to have the funds to help any potential donor match with any cost or expenses for their surgery to donate to this amazing man. His youngest son Jordan Carroll is a stellar senior this year preparing for the opportunity to attend Law School next year. He loves his dad so much that he has refused any assistance with high school needs to simply ensure that his father has enough money to pay for the 15 medicines that cost over $1200.00 a month to maintain his life as it stands. Jordan is very healthy and did everything he could to make himself a donor match for his dad under the pretenses he only had to be 18years of age to donate his kidney to save his dads life. But to our surprise, all hospitals have changed the age to 21 years old. This was very crushing for Jordan and through this immediate life altering need to save his dad, he maintains a 3.9 GPA at Eastside Catholic HS. His 11 year old daughter Jada is his shadow and she honors the ground he walks on. Norman hasn't ever missed a cheer competition, chaperone, take her shopping, and even braid her hair. We are setting up a Facebook Page for Norman as well for those who would like to contact us to about other ways they desire to help support our cause. We are not prepared to say Goodbye to a Amazing man, father, husband, brother, friend, family member, or community leader. Your donating of any amount wont go unnoticed, it simply can help us get one step closer to saving Norman Carroll's Life. Norman was a avid Golfer, so please help Norman get a HOLE in ONE KIDNEY! IF YOU WANT TO DO A FUNDRAISER TO HELP OUR CAUSE PLEASE CONTACT US.
