Recovery, Amaya and her Family’s Home and Heart in Ashes.

You may not know me, we may not be friends, but I am asking for as much faith, prayers, and help as me and my family can get. My name is Amaya Jennings, and on December 4th, 2024, Wednesday night around 7:30 pm, on 29 Golden St in New London, I came back to a devastation I will never forget.

My apartment and 3 other apartments in our complex had caught on fire while I was at work. My heart goes out to each and every one of us that lives in our apartments and anybody who ever had to experience something like this.

I've lost one of my beloved kittens, my grandfather's ashes, and a lot of our belongings and most importantly our home . My family and I are going through a very tough time during these holidays because of something so traumatic that has left us feeling so drained heartbroken, weary, and confused of where we will end up and how to move forward. My mind cannot process all the loss in this whole ordeal. This is something I’m dealing with for the first time in all of my years. I don’t mean to ask for much, but I am in desperate need of support from anybody who understands how hard this will be. I’m so sorry to all of my fellow neighbors, I am just trying to keep the faith and our heads high and my prayers go out to all of you as well.
