Amaya Lokey's Memorial Fund

Amaya Danyel Lokey was 20 years old when she unexpectedly passed away due to a massive seizure on May 23rd, 2020. She had just moved away from home to begin her own journey of life only 2 days prior and was the happiest she had ever been - she had finally found her own little bit of paradise, surrounded by trees, mountains, and endless possibilities. Amaya had a heart as pure as they come - during my divorce, my sister moved in with me and my 3 little ones and quickly became Super Auntie, helping and loving my children and I in ways I could have never repaid her for. Amaya also was very much a free-spirit, always out looking for her next adventure and camping in beautiful areas around Oregon - she loved to go mudding and boondocking and wanted to explore it all! An amazing athlete, hard worker, talented artist, true friend, she always persevered no matter the challenges placed in front of her, so determined that she was able accomplish anything she set her mind to...she was one to be admired and will be deeply missed by many.

In order to celebrate the precious life of Amaya, we are planning a gorgeous ceremony and wanting to place a memorial bench at one of her favorite sunset locations in her honor. Expenses will be used for the funeral home cost, the celebration of life ceremony, keepsakes for friends and family, and the memorial bench. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated as we are faced with such an unexpected tragedy.
