Amaryllis Horse Rescue Sanctuary 501(c)(3)
Tax deductible
Horses have done more for human beings than any other animal but that doesn't stop them from being commonly discarded, abused or even worse.
Christine and her daughter Rachel at Amaryllis are quietly and single-handedly responsible for saving thousands of abused horses lives throughout their years in animal rescue service, many from slaughter houses.
Amaryllis’ philosophy is centered around giving each rescue horse personal attention. What we find so admirable is their complete devotion to the survival and daily well-being of the animals. They live completely selflessly and work harder than anyone that I know.
Amaryllis does the absolute best that they can with the resources that they have but they are in dire need of donations so that they can continue to provide dozens of abused, elderly and discarded horses safe and beautiful lives. They provide a forever home for these animals so that nobody can ever let them down again.
Amaryllis is located in the Hamptons in New York, which is an affluent community, and therefore people tend to dismiss their need for funding. The Hamptons equestrian community generally doesn't help Amaryllis' mission - if anything, Amaryllis helps by taking in elderly, lame and unwanted horses. It’s extremely surprising the lack of financial support the community gives to these horses.
Amaryllis is home to 35 rescue horses.
In February, Christine and Rachel bought 5 horses from the butchers. She is rehabilitating them with tremendous love and care.
Your donations will go directly towards rescue, extensive vet bills, quality feed, adequate protection from the elements, etc.
Every single donation that you make will help to make an impact. Amaryllis is registered as a 501(c)(3) and your donation will be tax deductible.
Thank you in advance for your contribution!
