Amar's Wheelchair Accessible Van Fundraiser

Often times public transportation in NYC is inaccessible, and when it is, it’s usually unreliable or costly. My goal is to obtain a wheelchair accessible van that my family can drive me to places in until I am able to learn how to drive myself and add the appropriate adjustments to do so. I like to go out for leisure just like anyone else, but as a person with a physical disability called Spina Bifida, I also need to go for medical appointments on a regular basis. It would make a huge difference if I could do so on my own terms, without needing to rely on public transportation. But in order to make this happen, I would need help paying for a wheelchair accessible van. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, even if it’s just spreading the word! Thanks so much.
