Sponsored 21km Walk

On Sunday 15th October 2023, I will be walking 21 kilometers to raise money for my local hospital, Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield.

As I am clinically vulnerable, this hospital has helped me out massively.

I suffer from an extremely low functioning kidney, have suffered multiple heart attacks and I have recently been diagnosed with cancer. I am doing this walk to raise awareness to others who may be in a similar position to me and to show that when it's gets tough...don't give up. For someone with all of these conditions, you may think that walking even 1 kilometer is a struggle, but since the beginning of 2020 I have been going on regular walks and proving to myself and others that I will not let these conditions take over my body.

In doing this sponsored walk, I am saying thank you to the hospital for all the great things they do and all the people they help, like me.
