Amarjit fundraiser for Khalsa Sewa
With Guru Sahib’s Kirpa, it’s almost time for my annual trip to Panjab. Every year I go and spend time at Khalsa Seva Gurmat Vidhiyala, where we take a look at the increasing costs associated with the children’s care and education, and discuss how the sangat’s dasvand will be used.
With Guru Sahib’s Kirpa, last year we raised £3,300 directly for the vidhiyala, and for the cost of 3 girls' education fees. With these donations, we enrolled our daughters onto a BSC Medical course, BSC Fashion Design, and a BCA Computer Science course. The remaining donations were used to cover the costs of the girls' daily langar, the bills for the building, and the wage of their Kirtan teacher.
This year we desperately need donations to cover the cost of the children’s clothes (bana), English tuition fees, hygiene products, daily langar, and to hire someone to help prepare food for the children.
Khalsa Seva receives no funding and relies solely on donations to sustain this seva, so sangat’s dasvand truly is crucial for us. Even a small donation can make a tangible difference in the lives of our daughters.
Please make a donation via the link below and help us provide a future for our girls.
