Amare Larrucea was a bright, compassionate young woman who dreamed of becoming a travel nurse and exploring the world. Her caring and empathetic heart touched everyone she met, and she was always ready to help those in need. In 2023, Amare passed away from ALS, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and a passion for healthcare.
To honor Amare’s memory, the Amare Larrucea Memorial Scholarship Fund has been created. This scholarship will support young women who are pursuing degrees in healthcare, such as doctors and nurses. By providing assistance with tuition, books, and other expenses, the fund aims to help recipients achieve their dreams and continue Amare’s mission of caring for others.
Amare’s legacy is to pay it forward to future doctors and nurses who will lead the way in diagnosing, providing care, and researching a cure for ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. Your support will help carry her spirit forward and make a lasting impact on the lives of those who dedicate themselves to helping others.
