My friend Alyssa Erickson (Lyssie) went into preterm labor at 24 weeks and delivered Amara Rae at Maple Grove Hospital on September 2nd. A week later because of premature complications she was transferred to the NICU at the U of M Masonic Childrens Hospital for bowel surgery. She is still currently intubated to help her breathe. She is expected to stay until December or January and the medical bills are accruing quickly and are substantial. Any help or donations would be greatly appreciated.
