Hello everyone we are asking you to help our family member Amanuel. He is 21 years of age and was attending Montgomery College in Takoma Park. About 7 months ago he was diagnosed with an neurodegenerative disease that has affected his brain function, limited his motor skills, and weakened his vision. It has lead to brain degeneration that has left him unable to walk, talk, or write. His mom has been taking care of him ever since and has been unable to work. He was in Washington Hospital Center for almost a month but they could not find the proper treatment for him. Now, he is at home and receives home physical therapy and speech therapy. He has been referred to the National Institute of Health but the process takes a while for him to start. His mother has not been able to go back to work since Amanuel fell ill. Due to all these problems, they are struggling to get him proper care and rehabilitation. We are hoping to secure funding to help pay for Amanuel’s medical expenses, help his family pay unpaid bills, and help him get a home health aid. This will allow his mother to go back to work and will allow Amanuel to get the proper care he needs. Thank you in advance for your generous donations. Please keep Amanuel in your prayers!
