Hi, my name is Amani and I’m a sophomore attending KIPP NYC College Prep. Last year you guys helped me travel to Costa Rica and I am incredibly grateful for that (Some photos are below) . This year I got an even better opportunity! I recently had the opportunity to be accepted into a month long study abroad program in Italy starting July 5. While I’m not 100% certain I’ll be able to go yet, this is an opportunity I truly hope to make possible.

I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing different cultures beyond my own. Studying abroad would allow me to step outside of my comfort zone, grow in independence, and gain a new perspective on life and learning. I believe experiences like this shape who you become and help you see what’s possible for your future.

Right now, I’m working hard with my mom to figure out how to make this happen. I’m asking for support as I take steps toward turning this opportunity into reality. Any contribution, big or small, would mean so much to me. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would truly help.
