Amando Blasco Memorial Fund

This page has been set up by the Xojo Community in honor of Amando Blasco. In February Amando died in a tragic car accident . Our community knew Amando as a constant friendly and knowledgable member of our forums. It is not a surprise that he was also selfless in his personal life. In 2015 Amando left his job and his home to be near his father and help him as he fights cancer. Around that time Amando wrote me and said "Xojo is more than a programming language for me. It’s my environment, forums, staff, twitter, my alphas and betas. My dad knows more about Xojo than you can think :-) It’s part of my life."

Amando was a friend and a collegue. He was always quick and happy to help with a question and he was dedicated to growing as a developer. Amando always had new ideas and questions about Xojo; he was filled with ideas on how to grow and learn. He will be missed.

This fund was the idea of the Xojo Community, 100% of the funds raised here will go to Amando's father and family.
