Hello Everyone!
Thank you for checking out our page. This year, Special Childrens Charities in Illinois is kind enough to be conducting a matching grant program for Chicago Special Olympics Teams who are able to raise $2,000. If we can accomplish this goal, our Special Olympics Team budget would grow to $4,000, allowing our athletes to have everything they need to be successful. Specifically, your donation would be going toward the following: buses to practice facilities and game or meet sites, uniforms for Track and Field, Bowling, Bocce, Basketball, warm up sweats and hoodies, and snacks and water/gatorade for practice and game days.
While we know there are many charities worthy of a donation, we would be extremely grateful if you could help us gather the essentials so our athletes can compete. This is one of the few times they get to shine and we would love to give them this gift. Thanks again for taking the time out to hear our story.
