On March 1, 2016, we lost our beautiful Amanda to Cystic Fibrosis. Even after an astonishing TWO double-lung transplants, Amanda continued to fight. Her beauty is undeniable, but for the thousands of lives that she touched, many know how incredibly radiant her heart was. She was always concerned with taking care of the people around her.
So, now it is our turn to take care of her. It will take a village to bring together a ceremony that can stand up to the magnificent woman that she was. If there was a day that can be as beautiful as she was, my wish is for it to be the celebration of her life. I hope to gather the funds to alleviate the ceremony costs. Amanda's medical bills alone have cumulated to a staggering amount, so I plan to have this event be less of a setback.
Memorial details are being fine-tuned and I will announce the date/time when I get the official go-ahead. No combination of words can express how deeply saddened I (and everyone around her) am, and how much I loved her. She was truly incredible.
