Lupus and a Kidney

I'm sitting here reaching out for one reason: To save my sister Amanda Gomez who has been battling Lupus. If you have or had a loving sister or brother you know what it feels like or felt like to be helplessly on the verge of losing a beloved sibling or to have lost one. I have been through both.  Amanda is an amazing mother, sister, daughter and friend and those that know her can contest to this. Even though her flare ups have increased she remains positive and exudes such strength and optimism. Her kidneys have failed but her will to continue to live has not. She has been tested and approved to go on the kidney transplant list and hopefully by the end of year one will be available. The medical testing and treatments to this point are overwhelmingly mounting. I openly reach out for your generousity and life saving gift, whether it be a dolllar or more, sharing this story, or kind words and encouragement to Amanda. You will not only be saving a truely kind and caring person's life, but a loving sister, daughter and mother.
