Amanda's stage 4 cancer

Donation protected
Hi my name is Jacqui this is my daughter Amanda she's 28 and has been fighting breast cancer for 4 years in the last year it has turned into metastatic breast cancer stage 4, she is fighting for her life and has 2 young children 6 and 4. The funds are for improvements the their home, and well. To make it a healthy environment for her and her children. She also needs a full time home health care giver, to help her with daily functions, such as, dressing, hygiene, help with walking at times, keeping house, meal preparation, medication, getting her to and from treatments and doctor's appointments, Which are an hour away.

Over the 4 years she has been going through a couple different harsh chemotherapy treatments, that she will be doing for the rest of her life, spinal infusions to try and shrink the tumors in her brain, and radiation several times. She is fighting as hard as she can, as we, her family and friends are fighting with her.

So you may see through my eyes:

I may seem to be getting better at times, I'm really not. Some days are better than others, but there is no cure for the cancer. Today I had another seizure, much worse than the first one. They come without warning, I just hope that I survive them. I have a husband and two children. I want to stay with them for as long as possible. I think of all the things I know I'll be missing in their lives; graduations, first loves, my grandchildren, and so much more. I am going to make the most of every second I have here on earth. I'm not saying all of this for pity, I want people to see things from my point of view. The fact that I don't feel good, but I get up anyway. I don't take even the smallest things for granted. I choose quality of life, not quantity. I don't want a bunch of medications that make me feel worse so that I can't enjoy the time I'm given in this life with those I love.

UPDATE 25.03.2023
It was a good day. She's still super tired, however walking with help as much as she can tolerate. Taking those horrible tasting meds like a Rockstar! Her talking is quite slow, but we have all the time in the world to listen there are some things that she likes that hospice doesn't provide, I will put her gofundme, cash app, venmo, and you can always fb pay to my name. (All of these accounts are for her benefit, Noone elses) All these will be posted above the updates. We love you and all the prayers thank you ❤️

UPDATE. 23.03.2023
OK so today we brought Amanda home on hospice, it was the hardest thing ever for this family. She does not want to be in a facility, she wants to be at home with her family, so that is how it's going to be. She is trying to talk more, trying stand on her own. In her mind she can still do all these things, and in reality, she can't at the moment and we are hoping she will be able to eventually. I'm not sure if I have mentioned this but we are all concentrating on QUALITY not QUANTITY of life, as she has requested. Keep us in your prayers, as always love you and thank all of you.

UPDATE 22.3.2023
Today was a BIG day!! She is starting to say a few words. With the help of the physical therapist and occupational therapist, she walked about 30 ft today We will be discharged out of the hospital tomorrow on hospice, we still have a very long way to go and a ton of hard work. She is an amazing strong woman, and deserves the quality of life she wants. As always we love all of you and thank you for the support and prayers ❤️

UPDATE 21.3.2023
She is awake!!!! We are still not able to talk and still kind of restless in our legs. Dr says we will be discharged between 24/48 hours, on hospice. That doesn't mean if she gets to the point where she doesn't need hospice anymore, we can take her off.
Her cancer is progressing, we have run out of treatments to try, so we are going to take her home so she can spend every moment she can with her children and husband. She is sleeping peacefully now for the night.
I will continue to update daily. We love and thank all of you. As always please keep praying for a miracle for her family.

UPDATE 20.3.2023
She still is not awake yet. The Dr's are taking good care of her, it's just a waiting game for her brain to wake up.
Thank all of you for the thoughts and prayers ❤️
