I’m starting this fundraiser after having my right foot amputated just below the knee. Since then, everyday life has become a struggle. I can’t walk at all, and even something as basic as using the bathroom takes everything I have. Right now, I have to crawl to the door, pull myself up into my walker, roll to the bathroom, balance on one foot to sit down, and then pull myself back up when I’m done.
I’m also unable to work, and I can’t go to the store alone. So many basic needs now feel out of reach, and that has changed what I’m able to do for myself and for my kids while they’re in school. I want to be able to help them more, and I need better mobility and support to make that possible.
The funds from this fundraiser will help with ongoing needs like hygiene items, medical supplies, mobility equipment, and other assistance that helps me function day to day. I would also like to get a smaller motorized wheelchair so I can move around more safely and have a little more independence.
If you’re able to help, please consider donating. Recurring donations would mean so much because these needs continue over time while I’m unable to work, and even a one-time gift would help with the everyday items and mobility support I need right now. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean a lot. Thank you for supporting me during this difficult time.
