Amanda's Journey: Health and Financial Aid

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amanda Daniels. I am a 45-year-old single female. I have no boyfriend and no income. I lost my job on the 26th of 2023. I had a heart attack in February 2024. I had two heart stents put in in 2021. I had a heart catheter show that I had heart issues. I just had major surgery on December 4.

I’m just really needing help with my bills and financial situation that I’m in. I would appreciate anybody who can donate. That would be great. If you can’t donate, sharing is good, even words of encouragement. Anything helps at this point. I have all proof of anything that anyone needs to see. I did receive help through the Tennessee Homeowners Association with help with my home, for me keeping my home. I have received help with my electric bill through CAC Community Action Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Just needing help, man. I just need help. Any kind of help, even if it’s a dollar, it helps. Anything helps. I have five animals of my own. I just had two sets of puppies because a stray dog got into my fence and got my two outside girl dogs pregnant, so I have nine puppies left. I’m trying to find them good homes. I will be talking to Mr. Parker tomorrow at Young Williams Animal Shelter to see possibly what he can do to help me feed them. I have had people in the community help me with dog food, but right now I don’t have any. I have very little left, and I’m just tired of stressing. I’m tired of worrying.

I filed for disability on the 26th of last year, and I’ve been still fighting. I have a hearing date coming up. I live with my autistic son; he’s 25. His hearing date is February 29. I’m just extremely stressed and don’t know what else to do or where to turn. I have needs; my pipes need fixing. I need a faucet for my bathroom. My water bill is due. I am diabetic, and my son’s diabetic. We both use insulin. I have to have medications. Fortunately, last month a lady in the neighborhood helped me with my medicines as well. She also gave me a ride to the hospital to get the surgery done and stayed with me through it all. I don’t know her from Adam, but she’s been a grace of God.

You know, God is good. We got a couple of Christmas gifts of clothes for us to wear, which I’m very thankful for: deodorant, body wash, shampoo, just all the things that people take for granted. I appreciate anything. I’m not picky. I’ve tried to stay as positive as I can through the situation, and it’s just really getting really hard and unbearable. I’m tired of feeling like I can’t take care of myself because I can’t. I do receive food stamps, but they only last about 2 1/2 weeks. That’s fine, and I buy proper things, not junk food, food that we can eat. I’m thankful to get that.

I’ve just been through so much, so if you can help, that would be great, or you could just say a prayer for us. Please don’t judge me. I don’t need to be judged. Please, please help me.
