Amanda’s Fight: Fight cancer and give hope for motherhood

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amanda Magnier, and I’m a Georgia Pre-K assistant teacher who is currently going through cancer treatments: I have endometrial cancer, and I’ve been told I won’t be able to have children naturally. Surrogacy will be my only option other than adoption.

As someone who has always dreamed of becoming a mother, this diagnosis didn’t just shake my health—it threatened my future. Before beginning treatment, I’ve been given one option: egg retrieval and IVF to preserve any possibility of having children one day. But sadly, this process isn’t covered by insurance, and as a public educator, I simply can't afford the tens of thousands of dollars it will cost.

I spend my days helping nurture and educate young children, and nothing brings me more joy. I long for the chance to raise a child of my own, but that window is closing fast. Time is critical—not only because of the cancer, but because fertility preservation has to happen before the inevitable hysterectomy.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward:

Egg retrieval and freezing procedures
IVF cycle preparation
Fertility medication
Storage costs for frozen eggs
Your support will help me preserve the possibility of having a child one day. It’s more than a medical procedure—it’s a chance to hold on to hope in the middle of the most difficult time in my life.

If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with others. Thank you so much for reading, caring, and supporting me through this.

With love and gratitude,
Amanda
