Amanda's Creative Space Devastated by Flood
Donation protected
My name is Amanda and I’m a multimedia artist who has an art studio in the Eno Mills Gallery in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
On July 6th, Tropical Storm Chantal devastated the Eno Mills as the waters of Eno River rose 25ft. My studio, as well as the rest of the mills, was flooded with 3ft of water and sludge. I lost everything that got wet. I lost paints, all my drawing supplies, my easel, 8 years of drawings (as many as 100 drawings), paper, furniture, wire, a large crocheted doll, and a crate of my vinyl record collection I played every First Friday event.
