On January 5, 2023, Amanda unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest. Thankfully, her incredible friend Krissen was there to perform CPR and call 911, absolutely saving her life. Amanda is now in the Intensive Care Unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center where she is sedated and on a ventilator but stable and being cared for around the clock by wonderful nurses, doctors, and hospital staff. Doctors are still unsure of exactly how this happened, what was affected, and what her long-term care looks like. Right now, we are all just thrilled that she is stable and unbelievably grateful for Krissen.

Between her recent diagnosis and ongoing care with Addison's Disease (an extremely rare condition that requires lifelong care) as well as her new and unexpected heart complications, Amanda has a long road to recovery ahead of her. As we all know, the last thing anyone should worry about in this situation is finances.
