Amanda’s Brain Surgery and Recovery
Donation protected
As many of you may know my sister Amanda has been diagnosed with the same brain condition I have called Chiari Malformation. She has been experiencing intense symptoms of vertigo, dizziness, ataxia and several others since August that has left her unable to keep up with her daily life as she once knew it. She will be having surgery this month in hopes of symptoms subsiding and to stop the progression. Recovery from any type of surgery is difficult but brain surgery recovery is a very long, uncertain, rollercoaster ride. In addition to this surgery, Amanda and my brother in law Dave have a child ( Edmund) with special needs. Amanda will be away from him for weeks while she recovers. Dave is taking an extended leave of absence from work to care for Edmund 24/7 during this time. I know that the holidays are right around the corner but if you feel in your heart to donate whether it be monetarily, through meals or through prayers, our family would be so thankful.
