My name is Amanda Ntiamoah, a current University student looking to raise money to fund my upcoming summer track season.
I am currently in 5 courses, have a part time job working on average 1-3 shifts a week and train 5 times a week. Having such a busy schedule does not allow me to work enough days in a week to generate enough money for costs of proper treatment, nutrition and beneficial training camps in the Spring.
In April, my coach will be taking myself and a couple of my teammates down to Atlanta to get a head start on the outdoor season. We will have the opportunity to get away from the snow and train and compete in warm weather, however, this trip will be expensive. I am asking for your help to contribute to my training camp as well as any associated physiotherapy costs needed.
Breakdown of cost:
Flight/Accommodation/Food: ~$1100
Physiotherapy: ~$400
I have been off to a great start already, setting 5 personal bests in the last couple of months and I look forward to pushing further and bettering my times to reach my big goals by the end of this season. Track means so much to me and having to not worry about the expenses of this season would be the greatest relief.
