Amanda Marie Scolarice is only 17 and needs our help.
I've know this little lady since she was an infant. Sweet and tough like her Mother yet able to be a little goofy like her Dad.
Unfortunately, she also inherited a genetic disorder , called Marfan Syndrome . Marfan syndrome (MFS) is a disorder of the connective tissue which has the potential to cause many problems. In Amanda’s case it has caused an enlarged heart and a severe mitral valve leakage, requiring open heart surgery to repair/replace the valve.
Amanda is no stranger to surgery. At 13 she had to have scoliosis surgery .
To make matters worse, Dad (Craig) unfortunately lost his job.
