Amanda was diagnosed on June 3, 2020, with metastatic breast cancer. This is her third bout with this ugly disease. Currently, Amanda is going through further testing to determine which treatment options are the best. It has been determined that she will need both chemotherapy and radiation. She is taking a chemotherapy pill now and will be traveling to Cleveland Clinic on June 29, 2020, to have a second opinion and determine the final treatment plan. 

The family will be incurring a great deal of medical and travel expenses related to Amanda's illness. Unfortunately, Amanda is no longer able to work and will not be able to work during the course of treatment. This, plus the medical and travel expenses, will cause the family a tremendous financial hardship.
