Amanda Thompson's hospital bill
Donation protected
Amanda Thompson is a 15 year old fun loving girl. She loves her family and would do anything for them.
On Dec. 28th 2016 Amanda had her tonsiles removed she returned home that same day and was on pain killers. On Dec. 30th not 2 days later at 4 am she stopped breathing. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive her sister with the help of her mom and dad were able to revive her twice and keep her alert enough for the emts to arrive and take her to the ER. We were within seconds of losing her and we are so lucky to still have her.
Amanda spent about 16 hours in the ICU and was sent to an inpatient recovery room where she is now doing very well. We are discussing discharge with the doctor now and and making a plan to go home today.
Now that the hard part is over comes the difficult part. How can her parents afford to pay the hospital bill with her father having hip surgery not 2 weeks ago and being on disability most likely until February plus the cost of the tonsilectomy? This has put a serious hardship on the family and I am asking for a little help to cover the costs of surviving these tough times.
Any help is very greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
