I'm asking for donations toward a service dog that is currently being trained to help me with my diagnosis of functional neurological disorder. It comes with alot of symptoms and

I have neuropathy in half my body, muscle weakness and spasms, functional twitching, functional cognitive issues, and the most problematic is psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. Sadly, there is no medication or easy fix. I am doing everything I can to lessen them and relieve the stress on my family. Because I'm having seizures, I cannot drive until I'm six months seizure-free. Obviously, I'm not able to work or run my photography business, so we are down one income.
The best thing I've found I can do to improve my safety, symptoms, and gain some independence is to get a service dog. I have been beyond blessed by finding a local trainer, "Unleashed Dog Training" in Chesaning, that is jump-starting a service dog program with a golden retriever pup from Twisted S Golden Retrievers. The puppy will come to me when it's over a year old and has been trained to help me with my specific needs, most importantly keeping me safe when I have seizures!
The dog will be $8000 with the first $4000 already paid and the remainder due when I pick him up. I am adding an extra $3000 for things that I will need to get us started, including insurance and gear. Anything you're able to give will go toward the purchase of the dog and its care. Thank you so much for being there for us. I never ask for help, but there's no other way to relieve the pressure these seizures put on my family. I have to do this for my kids.❤️"
