My name is Bruce Ruttan Im fundraising because On October the 31st 2025 on what should have been my daughter’s 35th birthday I got the most devastating news any parent could ever receive by the Toronto police services. My daughter Amanda was found deceased. As a single father of 6 children Amanda was my oldest and most closest to me. This passing is the worst nightmare I have ever lived and it’s devastating me knowing that because of being a single father to 6 children I will not be able to afford the funeral that my daughter deserves. Anyone who knew Amanda knows she was the nicest woman in the world. She would help you when you need without you asking, she would make you smile when your down, and she would always be smiling even when in pain. Truly this death has been heart breaking for me and I would do anything I can to bring my baby girl back. Amanda leaves behind a hole that will NEVER be filled not only in me but to everyone who knew her. Amanda has 4 kids who now have no mother and have no father as Amanda was a single mother. We ask for your kind consideration and empathy during this horrible nightmare we are living in.
