Amanda Rouse; all the smiles and love felt in her absence.

Amanda Rouse passed away the week of November 18, unexpectedly, and in the privacy of her home. We are all devastated by the loss of her presence, beautiful soul and guiding light whose wisdom and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Amanda’s connection to the world was profound. She had a quiet yet powerful way of grounding those around her, offering light and healing even in the darkest times. Her deep love for Mount Shasta reflected the kind of person she was—spiritual, nurturing, and in tune with the natural world. It was her sacred space, and it will now become her eternal home, as her ashes will be spread in the place that brought her so much peace.

Amanda was more than a mother, wife, sister, friend or a confidant—she was a beacon of love and light. Though she left us far too soon, her spirit will continue to inspire us to seek clarity, offer compassion, and live life with open hearts.

Due to her leaving us unexpectedly, we are left with how to reconcile her best wishes and we need your help. This fundraiser is a way to honor Amanda’s memory and the impact she had on our lives. It’s a chance to give back in her name, to carry forward her legacy of love, wisdom, and generosity. All donations raised will go toward settling her estate, funeral home expenses, a gathering Celebrating her Life and helping Cedric, whom she adored and loved; get back on his feet, without his mother for comfort, hugs, love and support.
