Hi, my name is Tina Sanford,
I am the mother of Amanda Ross.
I am asking for your help! Could you please consider a donation to help with her travel, lodging, and medical bills?
Amanda’s journey started as a routine eye exam. Her ophthalmologist sent her to Green Bay for testing. Next thing you know, we are in Madison seeing oncology.
Amanda was diagnosed with cancer in her right eye. She has made multiple trips there until surgery was scheduled. Since then, she went to Dermatology. She has 12 spots of pre-melanoma. They only biopsy 3 at a time, then surgery 1 a week. Then we start over until all 12 have been removed. We are currently working on number 5.
Meanwhile, the oncology team in Green Bay has ordered genetic testing. During the weeks of waiting for results, Amanda found a breast lump and a uterine growth. With 2 positive mutations from genetic testing, oncology does not want to wait.
Amanda is now scheduled for a total mastectomy on Nov. 21st. Once healed, she will need a hysterectomy.
Amanda is a private individual. She never wants to ask for help, so I’m doing it for her. The medical bills are climbing. Credit cards are rising to pay for gas and lodging for each trip. In addition, finding help with her daughter and placing the dog in a kennel every time we travel.
But with the grace of God, all will be fine. So if you can’t donate, please keep her in your prayers.
