Amanda Rayburn’s Hope Fund

Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to share the story of my incredible (soon-to-be) sister-in-law, Amanda, who is currently in a fierce battle for her life. In March 2024, Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer. After several surgeries and months of recovery, she received devastating news: the cancer has spread, and she is now facing stage 3 metastatic cancer.

Amanda is the kindest and most supportive person I know. You can’t help but fall in love with her within minutes of meeting her. She has had a meaningful career helping people with disabilities find their way to a brighter future, making every effort to put others and their needs before her own. She is selfless and a wonderful, loving mother to her kids. Amanda continues to demonstrate extraordinary strength and resilience amid such adversity. Not once has she allowed us to see her down, maintaining a brave face for her two amazing children, Nicholas (13) and Olivia (16), my brother Blake, Amanda’s family, and ours. This is an incredibly frightening time for all of us, but we have HOPE. ❤️

In the coming days, Amanda will endure 16 rounds of intensive chemotherapy, followed by radiation. While she courageously battles this illness, the financial burden of medical expenses, treatment, gas, hospital parking, and daily living costs has become overwhelming. Since her diagnosis, Amanda has been unable to work, and the uncertainty surrounding her health and future weighs heavily on her and our families.

To help alleviate some of these pressures, we are setting up a GoFundMe campaign to assist with her additional medical expenses and living costs for her and her children. It is essential for Amanda to focus on her recovery, and every donation—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference in easing her financial stress and allowing her to concentrate on healing.
