Save Amanda's Cancer Warrior Fight Together
Hi friends, I’m Amanda. I’m a disabled veteran currently working as a psychiatric nurse. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer 9 months ago.
I was misdiagnosed so my treatment was very aggressive.
The cancer has now stopped growing but I have my 6 month scan in September.
The chemo and radiation treatments caused permanent nerve damage. Chemo also caused white matter lesions in my brain resulting in me having a TIA.
I am in severe pain everyday. But I need to continue to see my doctors to help. I’ve been paying medical bills and my family has been helping. I still owe over $100,000.
In order to keep seeing the oncologist who has been by my side and gotten me through this I need to pay at least $11,500 before my scan in September (so I can still get the scan) or I will not be able to see my oncologist or get the scan.
My body cannot handle chemo or radiation again so it is very important that I get this scan and keep my oncologist.
Please help me, even just sharing.
