Hello friends and family,

We've created this GoFundMe page to assist Amanda Nicole Ford, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia and pneumonia. Amanda is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a social worker. At this time, her prognosis for getting better is good, but her health does not permit her to continue working. She is no longer able to pursue her career passions of advocating for the homeless and unhoused youth. She will not be able to return to work immediately until she recovers and is unable to return to her current housing.

The journey to her recovery will be a long one; however, she is seeking assistance for living and medical expenses. Her current challenges include loss of income and paying for expensive medical treatments. Ultimately, her goal is to emerge from this medical diagnosis cancer-free. Amanda is grateful for any contributions that you may offer and is looking forward to being a cancer survivor.
