Amanda needs help saving her eyesight!

Hi, my name is Ashley and I am fundraising for Amanda Ertelt!

Amanda has what is called Choroidal Neovascular Membranes in both of her eyes. CNVM is when new blood vessels grow in the choroid, which is beneath the retina, and it causes damage by breaking through the barrier between the retina and the choroid. Vision loss is seen when they leak fluid or bleed in the retina, which is what doctors are currently seeing happen within her eyes.

The treatment Amanda is desperately in need of consists of at least 3 rounds of shots in both her eyes, which she has not been able to afford due to a change in health insurance. The cost is astronomical and I am looking to help ease the financial burden so she can get the procedures she is urgently needing without worrying about the scary possibility of going blind.

Amanda is a beautiful soul who is very near and dear to my family's heart. She works at my children's Christian childcare center and is an amazingly patient, kind, and respectful teacher! She loves my boys like her own and tackles difficult days with grace. The kids have formed an unbreakable bond with Amanda and she enjoys teaching them the curriculum, but what she loves to teach most is Jesus's love for them.
