Amanda Moore was seriously  injured on June 12 suffering a gun shot wound to the left side of her head. This has devastated  family, friends and everyone who knows Amanda. She is a loving, devoted wife mother and daughter. She followed in her father's footsteps and joined the Spalding County Sheriff's  Office last year and recently  became a deputy  sheriff and was so proud of that accomplishment. She is listed in stable condition at this time but her recovery  and rehabilitation will be long and extensive.
