Amanda Kotlar's Mission Trip 2024

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! It's the start of a new year for all of us and the start of a new adventure for me. I will be traveling to Costa Rica during my spring break in March to go on my first-ever mission trip with my campus ministry at The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. The House is a ministry that helps college students discover real life in Jesus Christ and focuses on bringing students to a deeper knowledge and love of God. This is a very special place to me because it has taken me in, makes me feel at home, and is teaching me to be a better person and follower of Jesus.

This trip will focus on community outreach. I will be working in schools with kids and youth, doing all kinds of activities with them, and having fun! I will also work with a local organization associated with the houseless community. I truly hope to immerse myself in the culture, build relationships with local people, enhance my hospitality skills, bless others, and share the Kingdom of God. I am so thankful for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us!
