My sister was strong, the strongest person I knew. She was always fighting to stay alive, to be better not just for her daughter, but because she wanted to be better too. The world was really hard on her, but she pushed back harder. She was fierce, smart, and loyal. She always had the best intentions.
Yesterday morning she was found dead in a homicide. Yesterday she made headlines because she was a victim of the first homicide 2019 has seen.
It’s hard to comprehend all of this, and it’s even harder to prepare for what comes after.
So as much as we hate asking, our family and I would appreciate anything anyone can give to help cover any costs that are coming our way, and of course to continue providing for her daughter, our niece, Danielle.
