My daughter, Amanda Myrick, was in a car accident on October 25, 2022. She was T-boned so hard that a witness saw all four tires leave the asphalt and then slam down landing on the driver's side. All airbags were deployed, and she hit her head briefly losing consciousness. Hidden injuries not immediately known that night were recently identified resulting in the need for surgery to fuse two vertebrae in the base of her neck.
Surgery means loss of work. Amanda is a single mother working at least two jobs at a time to support herself and her 10-year-old son. The recovery will put Amanda behind in her finances by at least one month, maybe more. She won't be able to work at all for 4-6 weeks. She's already some lost income due to the significant pain she is in, making it difficult, and sometimes impossible to work.
The funds raised will go directly to support Amanda and her son to help pay their rent, keep utilities on, maintain insurance, keep her new (used) car, and most importantly, to be sure they both have food in the house.
Anyone that has known Amanda in the last several years knows she is a dedicated, single mother who has worked hard to provide. Now, we need to keep a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs until Amanda can get back to work.
Please help if you can. We realize this is a difficult time for many. Every little bit helps and we are thankful for any support.
Any donation is gratefully appreciated. If you can't donate, you can still help by passing this on! Either way, thank you for reading!
