Amanda Harden (Serian) Memorial Fund

Amanda Harden was born November 1st, 1986 in Austin, Texas to Robert and Betty Duke. Amanda was a beacon of light for all around her, brightening the lives of everyone she met. She was a wonderful daughter and sister, devoted mother, and loving wife. She had a talent for making friends regardless of the situation and an unending capacity to love and care for all.
Amanda (Known by Serian or Zakoi) met Wesley Harden (Known by Demetrix) online in World of Warcraft. They quickly grew close and then madly in love. They married November 21st, 2015 in Navarre, Florida, then re-upped their vows on their first anniversary in Granbury, Texas with friends and family. They were blessed with a child, a wonderful boy named John on August 6th, 2018.
Amanda worked for many years in a variety of jobs, but wanted to pursue her passion in plants and botany. She was attending college for her degree in Plant Science. Her favorite hobbies were reading, gardening, and playing video games, in which she built a large group of friends and guilds who love and support. She loved to spend her time making those around her happy, be it recreating her WoW Guild in Sims 3 and sharing their hijinx, or being a resident lamp post at Guild RP.
The Memorial Fund is to honor Amanda in a way most fitting to her life and passion. The Dallas Arboretum was a place she loved as it was filled with beautiful flowers like herself, and the money will go toward purchasing a memorial tree, marked with a plaque with her name on it. Additionally, a flower bed will be dedicated for a year in her honor, bearing her name and picture. She loved reading as well, and we will purchase a memorial bench for a local library so people will forever have a spot to sit and read.
